I *miss* it.
Every time I think I might put on my stuff and actually fight at a practice, my body betrays me and has a *really* bad day. Like yesterday. I don't really enjoy being sidelined; I miss the brute physicality of the action. I respect the fight, and appreciated what it did for me. That's all I can really say about the matter without sounding odd, but if you ever want to know what the original writers of the Society rapier rules thought was a good fight, come chat with me sometime.
